Meet the Team

Sharon Amesu

Hi, I'm Sharon,  co-founder of She Leads: For Legacy and one part of this mother and daughter team.

 

In a former life I was a Criminal Barrister for 16 years. I now run a consultancy delivering leadership development, executive coaching and diversity and inclusion training.

 

I'm a passionate advocate for race and gender equality in the workplace.

Afiya Amesu

Hi, I'm Afiya,  co-founder of She Leads: For Legacy and the other part of this mother and daughter team.

 

I've just completed my Undergraduate degree in law and I'm now undertaking my masters degree in Law and the Postgraduate Course for Barristers. 

 

In my work with community groups I have seen how many of my black female peers face barriers that limit their access to so many opportunities.

Training, coaching and mentoring for black women in leadership and in board level roles and those striving to get there. Consultancy support for organisation seeking strengthen their leadership pipeline with more diverse talent.

Amplification

Celebrating and bringing  visibility to Black Female Professionals who are blazing trails and shaping positive legacies.  Recognising organisations who are accelerating gender and race equality in the workplace.
