About the Project

We Lead For Legacy is a high level leadership programme for, both, current and future leaders from racially marginalised communities, brought to you by She Leads For Legacy, Flourish Together and Reform Radio, in partnership with Greater Manchester Combined Authority. The project will take place from November 2023, through to June 2024, with a series of expert sessions throughout, exploring the following:

  • Effective Communication to Lead Change: Public speaking and communicating with courage to engage and inspire people to take action with tools for influence and impact.

  • ‘The Leader in Me’: Leadership mindset & philosophy to enable people to recognise their leadership potential and step into their power.

  • Leadership Styles and the System Changes that are necessary to address racial discrimination: Diverse perspectives and leadership styles, understanding Systems Change across geography, culture, sector and societal need, whilst innovating solutions to address racial discrimination within leadership and Civic Society.

  • Leading with purpose and taking action: Exploring challenges of the future and routes to tackling these as a leader.

You will explore these modules through in-person workshops, online reflection, peer learning groups and action-based mentorship days.
