About the Event
Are you a Black female professional or Ally looking to gain practical tools and strategies to bring about more diversity and inclusivity in your workplace? Join the team at She Leads for Legacy for our first in-person event, hosted and sponsored by EY Manchester.
This year's theme for International Women's Day is 'Breaking the Bias'. As a community we are passionate about empowering and equipping others to break the bias in our workplaces.
We're excited to announce that we will be joined by Lorna Rogers, Assistant Director of Mayoral Programme Delivery.
Lorna is a leading voice on the Race and Gender Equality agenda. Having spent her entire career focussed on improving opportunities for disadvantaged communities across Merseyside, Lorna comes with a wealth of experience of tackling systemic biases.
This includes working for the Toxteth Education Trust, looking at the barriers to employment facing BAME communities, and for Liverpool City Council in equalities, housing and education. Lorna is currently a board member for Liverpool Race Equality Task Force and is leading on the Race Equality agenda in the Liverpool city region.
This is set to be an exceptional evening of information, inspiration and connection.
Please note that due to limited space, we can only accommodate a maximum of two people per organisation.
Please also note that this a ticketed event and evidence of registration will be required for admission.
